What does it take to be an Alfa agent?
Alfa Insurance agents are self-motivated and take exceptional
pride in their work, the company they represent and the
products they sell. It is preferred that applicants have
a college education and/or previous sales experience.
What training will I receive?
Alfa provides all levels of training to its sales agents.
Once recruited and accepted into the Alfa team of professionals,
you begin your training at the Home Office in Montgomery,
Ala. where you are taught about our many lines of insurance,
corporate procedures for sales and service to our clients
as well as techniques to sharpen your skills in sales. When
you complete your training at the Home Office, you will
receive further training in the field under the direction

program will carry you through the first year of your career,
agents are also given the opportunity to further strengthen
their knowledge through our continuing education programs
and seminars. Agents are encouraged to further their education
by taking courses leading to these insurance industry designations
for excellence in their field:
CLU- Chartered Life Underwriter

potential. Alfa agents with three years of experience average
more than $75,000 annually. These figures vary and are based
on individual ability and salesmanship.
