Alfa® is offering to temporarily suspend policy cancellations due to non-payment of premium and waive late fees for policyholders facing financial strain due to COVID-19.
The extended grace period is available for Alfa automobile, property and life insurance policies. Hardship requests are being reviewed based on individual circumstances. Customers facing financial difficulty should contact their agent or local service center.
As essential critical infrastructure, Alfa offices remain open and continue to serve customers, by appointment only. Customers also can make payments, file a claim, access auto ID cards or request policy changes by registering their policies at AlfaInsurance.com, calling 1-800-964-2532 or through the Alfa2Go® mobile app.
Parnell said Alfa’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic is based on its core values of faith, family, community and integrity.
“When disaster strikes, Alfa is the first to answer the call,” Parnell said. “While the disruption caused by COVID-19 is not a natural disaster, we realize the devastating impact it’s having on our neighbors and communities. We’re happy to be a part of easing the immediate impact from this pandemic.”
