Robison Selected To Lead Alfa's P&C Policy Administration

Montgomery, Ala. - Alfa Insurance® has selected Rob Robison, senior vice president of Life Operations, to provide leadership for the company's Property and Casualty (P&C) policy administration.

Robison's new areas of responsibility include P&C policy processing and administration, remittance processing, records retention and office systems. He will continue to manage Alfa Life Insurance Corp., including Underwriting, Policy Owner Services, New Business policy issuing, Claims and Records Retention divisions.

"I am looking forward to working with an outstanding staff in Alfa's Property and Casualty Processing and Policy Administration areas," Robison said. "We will continue to focus on providing exceptional personal service to our agents and our customers, while providing a consistent level of support across all of our lines of business."

A 33-year veteran of Alfa, Robison served as vice president of Business Systems Development from 1999 to 2007. During that time, he led major initiatives to replace core policy administration and financial systems, as well as imaging, business intelligence and non-standard automobile outsource processing.

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Steve Rutledge said he is confident in Robison's ability to help move the company forward.

"Robison's extensive experience in overseeing strategic technology projects makes him uniquely qualified for his new duties with the P&C companies," said Rutledge. "I know he will provide outstanding leadership for Alfa's policy administration operations."

Alfa Life has made many advances during Robison's tenure over the department.

"Under Robison's leadership, Alfa Life has set records for production and overtaken Liberty National to become the No. 1 life insurance company in Alabama in terms of market share," said Rutledge.

Recently, Conning Research and Consulting recognized Alfa Life as one of the top 20 Successful Small Life Insurance Companies and as one of seven Steady High Performers. Robison also provides leadership for Alfa Financial Corporation and the company's consumer lending operations.

Robison is a graduate of Huntingdon College and has a Master of Business Administration degree from Auburn University Montgomery. He is married to Sharon Robison, and the couple has four children.
