Like many agents in the insurance industry, I didn't start out that way. I actually started my career as a teacher and a coach after acquiring a BS and MS degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. After serving as a teacher/coach for 10 years at UMS-Wright, Wesson Attendance Center and McComb High School, I decided to pursue my interest in sales. My insurance experience started as a Farm Bureau agent in Copiah County. I quickly adapted to the high pressure sales environment by winning my sales district's "Rookie of the Year" award and was honored to earn other recognition and incentive trips. I continued to further my knowledge with membership in the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), where I held the title of secretary/treasurer for our local association, and currently serve on the state board of directors. In 2012, I decided to advance my career with Alfa Insurance in Flowood, Mississippi. With five years in the business, I have realized that it's not about awards or accolades, it's about people. This business is about taking care of clients. I truly believe that if you get up each day and do what is right for each and every person that you encounter, everything will take care of itself. Your goals, your dreams and desires will find their place. I am married to my wonderful wife, Jennifer, and we live in Jackson with our three beautiful daughters, Cianna, Darbie Lynn and Madilynn. We attend St. Richard's Catholic Church and the girls are students at Jackson Academy.
