Some states do not allow for occupational discounts on auto insurance. If your occupation is not listed, your agent can help you determine what other discounts you’re eligible for.
How much is the occupational discount?
This amount varies by occupation and is dependent on other elements such as your insurance score and other rating factors.
I am retired from an eligible occupation. Can I still get the discount?
If you were insured with Alfa prior to retirement and the occupational discount was applied, you will continue to receive that discount. But the occupational discount will not apply to retired personnel.
My spouse’s occupation is eligible. Will I still get the discount?
Yes, if your spouse works in an eligible field and the occupational discount is applied, it will apply to the whole policy.
