Yearly Summer Supply Drive

At the heart of our mission is a desire to serve others - and that extends beyond our customers to our community as well. We are a company that truly cares, and our school supply drive proves that #AlfaCares about education.

Every year, there are students who come to school with an unfulfilled school supply list because their family can’t afford them. How can they learn without the basic supplies needed? They can’t. To lessen the budgetary burden for parents and teachers alike, we started a summer back-to-school drive to ensure one school in the area, selected by a social media contest, would be stocked before the sound of the first bell.

Scholarships

The Alfa Foundation and Alabama Farmers Ag Foundation demonstrated just how much #AlfaCares about education in 2023. The Alfa Foundation awarded $100K in scholarships. Since 2014, the Alfa Foundation has awarded $950K to deserving students through its scholarship program. In 2023, the Ag Foundation awarded 77 scholarships totaling $134,250 to students pursuing degrees in agriculture or forestry.
