Alfa Mutual Insurance Company, Alfa Mutual General Insurance Company, Alfa Mutual Fire Insurance Company, Alfa Insurance Corporation, Alfa General Insurance Corporation, or Alfa Life Insurance Corporation (we, us, or Company) may be required by law to provide to you certain written cancellations, nonrenewal notices; policies; endorsements; declaration pages; letters; disclosures; authorizations; acknowledgments; or other types of notices or electronic records (collectively referred to as “Documents”). Described below are the terms and conditions for providing to you such Documents electronically. Please read the information below carefully and thoroughly.
Getting paper copies:
You may request from us a paper copy of certain Documents provided or made available electronically to you by us. You will have the ability to download and print documents we send to you, and you may access the Documents for a minimum of one year after such Documents are provided to you. After such time, if you wish for us to send you paper copies of such documents from our office to you, there will be no per-page fee. You may request delivery of such paper copies from us by following the procedure described below.
Withdrawing your consent:
If you decide to receive Documents electronically, you may at any time change your mind and tell us that thereafter you want to receive the Documents only in paper format. You must inform us of your decision to receive future Documents in paper format and withdraw your consent to receive the Documents electronically as described below.
Consequences of changing your mind:
If you elect to receive Documents only in paper format, it will slow the speed at which you receive your Documents. You will receive the Documents via U.S. mail.
Documents will be sent to you electronically:
Unless you tell us otherwise in accordance with the procedures described herein, we will electronically provide to you Documents that would otherwise be mailed to you via U.S. mail. If you do not agree and want to continue to receive your Documents in a paper format via U.S. mail, please do not consent to receive Documents electronically. Please also see the paragraph immediately above that describes the consequences of not electing to receive delivery electronically from us.

To advise us of your new email address:
To let us know of a change in your email address of where we should send Documents electronically to you, you may log into your account to change the email address or contact the Customer Resource Center at 1-800-964-2532 or your local Alfa agent.
To request paper copies from us:
To request delivery from us of paper copies of the Documents previously provided by us to you electronically, you may log into your account to change the email address, contact the Customer Resource Center at 1-800-964-2532, or contact your local Alfa agent. There will be no per-page fee. You can also print the Documents in your account.
To withdraw your consent with us:
To inform us that you no longer wish to receive future Documents in electronic format, you may log into your account to “Opt Out” of the paperless option, contact the Customer Resource Center at 1-800-964-2532, or contact your local Alfa agent. The consequences of your withdrawing consent for Documents will be that it will take longer for you to receive your Documents, and those Documents will instead be sent via U.S. mail.
Required hardware and software:
The minimum system requirements for receiving your Documents electronically may change over time. To access, view, print and retain Documents, you must have:
- Access to a device (e.g. computer, smartphone, mobile device, tablet, etc.) suitable for connecting to the Internet, or downloading our mobile app with the current version of (i) an operating system, such as Windows, Mac OS, iOS, or Android, and (ii) web browser, such as Windows Explorer or Edge, Chrome, Safari, or Firefox;
- A connection to the Internet;
- Local electronic storage capacity to retain Documents and/or printer to print them, if you choose to save the Documents to your device or print the Documents;
- A valid email account and software to access it; and
- Software that enables you to view and display files in HTML and PDF format.
Policies with Multiple Named Insureds:
For policies with more than one named insured, consent to receive Documents electronically by one registered user is sufficient to manage preferences for the other named insureds. You agree that your consent is consent on behalf of the other named insureds to electronic delivery of Documents to your email address and will constitute delivery to all named insureds, even if all named insureds may not have access to the email address.
