LaToya King

LaToya King is a dynamic entrepreneur, community leader, and trusted insurance professional committed to helping families build lasting legacies. A Columbus, Georgia, native, LaToya has lived in Montgomery, Wetumpka, and Phenix City, Alabama, where she built strong community ties before expanding her impact into Georgia. Prior to opening LaToya King Agency – Alfa Insurance in Winder, she successfully owned and operated an insurance agency in Phenix City, AL, further solidifying her expertise in helping families and businesses protect their futures.

Beyond her work in insurance, LaToya is a dedicated community advocate. In 2018, she joined Leadership Elmore County, quickly rising to serve as a Board Member and later as Chairman of the Board (2019–2020). She has also played active roles in the East Alabama Chamber, and Wetumpka Chamber, strengthening local business networks and fostering meaningful community connections.

LaToya’s passion for empowerment is evident in the impactful events she hosts, including the Securing the Family Legacy Community Event, Back 2 College Supply Giveaway, Business Roundtable, Before I Say “I Do” Brunch, Bridal Extravaganza of Wetumpka, and the transformational Take the Mask Off Retreat. Her commitment to celebrating and uplifting others also led her to serve as a Christmas on the Coosa Pageant judge for four years.

As the author of Take the Mask Off, LaToya continues to inspire individuals to embrace authenticity and personal growth. Approachable, marketable, and driven by purpose, she is not only shaping the insurance industry but also enriching lives – one family at a time.
