Alfa® Life Insurance Celebrates 50 Years Of AM Best’s Financial Strength Ratings
Montgomery, Alabama-based Alfa Insurance is no stranger to positive ratings from AM Best.
The multiline insurer celebrated a 50-year standing on Best’s “Standing the Test of Time 2025*” list of insurance companies with an A (Excellent) rating in 2022 — a milestone the company has continued to achieve each year since.
A testament to five decades of unwavering commitment to customers across Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi, Alfa Life Insurance recently earned a place in this year’s list of “Life/Health Insurers Rated A or Higher for 50 Years.” Alfa was one of 10 life/health carriers who hit the 50-year mark for the first time — the most in this category since Best’s Review first published this list in 2009.
Alfa Life Insurance joined Alfa Mutual Insurance Company, which has received an A rating or better since 1953 and Alfa Mutual General Insurance Company, which has received an A rating or better since 1973.
Alfa Insurance CEO Jimmy Parnell said this recognition is a testament to each Alfa team member who works hard for our customers each day.
