Alfa Insurance Executive Vice President of Marketing Mark Evans announced the promotion of Angie Lancaster to Vice President of Marketing Administration March 1. Lancaster most recently served as Regional Administrator for South Alabama.
A 35-year Alfa veteran, Lancaster is a graduate of the prestigious Alfa Leadership Academy. Throughout her tenure, she has served in multiple capacities including CSR, Supervising CSR and District Supervisor before being named Regional Administrator in 2013. Lancaster is also an Alfa legacy — her mother, Mary Lary, has served as a CSR in Tuscaloosa, Alabama since 1968.
Executive Vice President of Marketing Mark Evans said Lancaster has always been an extremely important player for Alfa’s Marketing team.
“Angie will play an integral role in Alfa’s future as we lean on her abilities to streamline and combine administrative responsibilities at the management level,” Evans said. “As vice president, she will provide leadership for development, implementation, integration and maintenance of all administrative efforts. This includes working directly with district sales management teams to develop and manage service center operational procedures; reach corporate production and expense goals; and maximize profitability.”
Lancaster’s new role also includes responsibility for service center site management; marketing budget and compliance; process improvement; and coordinating membership growth efforts with the Alabama Farmers Federation and Farm Bureau Bank. Additionally, she will serve as Marketing lead for projects, technology and equipment related to service center operations.
“I am excited and honored to be chosen for this new role and grateful for this opportunity,” Lancaster said. “I have been blessed in my career to work with great teams of people and can honestly say I would not be here today without their support and encouragement. I always make my work each day about making things better for someone else, whether that is our company, our customers, management teams or field force, and I look forward to continuing that in my new role.”
Lancaster and her husband, Bruce, have four daughters — Kimberly, Lindsey, Casey and Jennifer; and are the proud grandparents to eight grandchildren. The Lancasters attend Church of the Highlands.
