MONTGOMERY, Ala., December 2020 — Alfa Insurance® Executive Vice President of Operations Tommy Coshatt has announced the promotion of Rex Seabrook to Senior Vice President of Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life Operations. Seabrook most recently served as Vice President of P&C Underwriting.
During his 25-year tenure with Alfa, Seabrook has served in all areas of P&C Underwriting, including commercial, farm, property and auto. In his new position, Seabrook will be responsible for P&C and Life Operations, along with the Document & Payment Strategies area.
“Rex will work to strengthen the company’s service to our customers and deliver long-term growth and profitability,” Coshatt said. “He has exemplified his leadership capabilities through various initiatives at Alfa, and I am excited to see how he continues to help move the company forward. His experience throughout Alfa’s P&C Underwriting Department will serve him well in this new role.”
Seabrook said he’s eager to help Alfa reach its goals to grow premium in 2021. “I look forward to taking on this new role at Alfa,” he said. “Our team is made up of a great group of folks, and I am thankful for the opportunity to continue to help Alfa grow.”
A native of Moulton, Alabama, in Lawrence County, Seabrook grew up on a small family farm. The University of Alabama alumnus received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in 1992 and has since earned a Certificate in General Insurance. He also achieved the Chartered Property and Casualty (CPCU) designation and is a graduate of the inaugural Alfa Leadership Academy.
