Meet Reggie Moton

In return, Alfa awards Employee of the Quarter to a nominated employee each quarter of the year. At the end of the year, one of the four winners is awarded Employee of the Year. This year, Mr. Reggie Moton was proudly awarded 2023 Employee of the Year for his contribution to Alfa.
Born and raised in Montgomery, AL, Reggie is the fourth of five siblings. He studied Graphic Arts at Alabama State University and finds joy in painting, drawing and creating music. He even has a clothing brand called KWALA, meaning ‘Kings Win After Losing All.’ “I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was 17, and it taught me a lesson: like Job in scripture, he lost everything. But God blessed him ten-fold in what he lost. So, in my life I have dealt with losses, but I never lost my faith in God. It was a perfect fit for my life.”
Reggie is Senior Supply Clerk in the Controller department of the Alabama Farmers Federation. He manages all the sorting and delivering of mail, in-house printing, copying and maintains all fleet cars. “I make sure we have the supplies needed for each employee to do their jobs effectively out in the field.” Reggie helps the Federation operate at peak performance. “My relationship with Alfa started in 1999. I love the people and love the fact that our company honors God, family and service to our customers,” he shares.
Supervisor Phillip Johns says, “I always hear from Federation staff how Reggie’s positive attitude affects others throughout our area. He interacts with everyone while delivering mail, brightens everyone’s mood and always offers help with other projects.” He has stepped in to help with our fleet management process. He ensures our company vehicles are ready for employees to drive, which has helped his other team members focus on other projects. “Reggie goes above and beyond to help others inside and outside his department and strives to make the Federation a better place of work. He is extending his reach and serving his internal customers very well,” Phillip adds.
